    • Concorde Career College, located in Memphis, offers a nine-month Dental Assisting program for students pursuing this career field.     University of Tennessee

    • Through the Health Science Center, the University of Tennessee provides a two-year, five-semester Dental Hygiene course. Each year, only 34 students are admitted into the program, which accepts a few out-of-state residents each year. The accredited program at UT gives students instruction on patient care and services, with coursework in anatomy, nutrition, clinic theory, clinic practice, oral radiology, oral pathology and many other areas of dental care.
