Baqai Dental College was established in the city of Karachi in 1991. The school offers bachelor's degrees in dental surgery and dental technology, as well as master's degrees in oral surgery, periodontology, oral surgery, community dentistry and orthodontics .The college is part of the larger Baqai Medical University and has modern laboratories, its own library and available computers. Students at the college serve the community through satellite clinics in Nazimabad, Gulberg and Gharo, where the residents of rural areas can receive dental care free of charge.

Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine offers a bachelor's degree in dental surgery as well as a Ph.D program. There are post-graduate fellowships available in operative dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics, and diploma programs for dental technicians, dental hygienists and dental assistants. The school has dental and biomedical laboratories, a museum and a computer lab. International students are accepted, provided they meet admission requirements, along with local Pakistani nationals and Pakistani nationals living outside the country.
