Students in the Charter College Dental Assisting certificate program will learn clinical techniques in a laboratory setting, including a hands-on assisting procedure designed to mimic a real dental office and the tools and technology used. Students will also learn to identify dental tools and technology, the treatment procedures performed in a dental office, and how to control infection and read patient charts. Students will graduate from the program with a knowledge and understanding of how to assist a dentist and other dental staff members efficiently.
