    • The University of Texas Health Center was founded in 1970. It graduates more than 90 dentists a year with a faculty of 200 dental professionals in more than 10 study areas. The areas of study include doctor of dental surgery, general dentistry, dental diagnostic sciences, dental public health, endodontics, general practice residency, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics.

    • Baylor College of Dentistry was founded in 1905. Since its founding, the college has graduated more than 8,000 dentists. The areas of study include doctor of dental surgery, general dentistry, dental hygiene diagnostic sciences, dental public health, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and restorative services.
