LPN to RN Bridge Programs in Dallas, Texas

Licensed practical nurses (LPN) help with patient care in a variety of ways, including checking vital signs, giving injections and dressing wounds. LPNs are known as LVNs, or licensed vocational nurses, in Texas and California. These nurses study and train for about a year to obtain their degree. Those who want to get a more advanced level of training will have to start a registered nurse (RN) program. There are several schools in the Dallas area that have bridge programs, which make it easier for LPN/LVNs to become RNs.
