LPN to BSN Bridge Programs

LPN to BSN programs are bachelor's degree programs that are designed specifically for licensed practical nurses. These accelerated nursing programs are created so that LPNs don't have to take courses for which they already have the necessary nursing knowledge. These programs are commonly found at private colleges and universities. Obtaining a BSN allows the licensed practical nurse to seek certification as a registered nurse. According to indeed.com, the average yearly salary for RNs in the U.S. is $73,000.
