This program focuses on comparative and international approaches and requires students to participate in long or short-term studying abroad. The University of Maryland University College offers a masters of science degree in information technology with a specialization in homeland security management. The curriculum in this program was designed to prepare students to perform risk assessments for security as well as plan and manage operational recovery.
