Graduate Programs in Homeland Security

Homeland security refers to the implementation of governmental programs and agencies, most notably the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, that work to reduce the risk of terrorist attacks within the country. Homeland security provides employment in several areas, including border security, response and recovery to terrorism, counterterrorism and immigration. A post-secondary degree is an excellent method of attaining upper-level positions in this field. Several schools in the United States currently offer educational programs in homeland security at the graduate level.
