Platt College offers a rigorous and thorough nursing program that focuses on preparing students to move right into employment. The goal of Platt College is to ensure that their graduating students are not only trained to handle patients and to perform their duties professionally, but are trained in working cooperatively with medical staff and in understanding the business of health care. Although SAT scores are not required for admission into Platt College, future students are required to pass the Test of Essential Academic Skills.

The College of Nursing offers a challenging and rigorous degree, and provides students with experience in working with the most innovative equipment and methods available. Acceptance into the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing is competitive, and requires SAT scores and a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The Denver School of Nursing offers a well-rounded nursing program that allows graduates to become RNs without requiring SAT scores or a minimum GPA. The only prerequisite is a high school diploma or GED. The Denver School of Nursing has a state-of-the-art laboratory and a faculty of highly trained professors.
