List of New York Community Colleges

Community colleges provide a way for people to get a two-year college education resulting in an associate's degree, or to begin their four-year college education aimed at earning a bachelor's degree. Often publicly-funded, community colleges often provide career education and remedial education, as well as training for specific industries. New York offers community college opportunities through two four-year college systems, the State University of New York and the City University of New York, as well as many other community-based options.
