Culinary School Grants & Scholarships

Culinary school can help students to transform a love of cooking into a professional career as a chef, restaurateur, pastry chef, sommelier, food critic or food writer. While culinary school can provide future culinarians with the knowledge needed for success in the food industry, it can also present a challenge in terms of cost. Fortunately, there are a number of scholarship and grant programs designed to help culinary students complete their education.
  1. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Scholarships

    • The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation sponsors several scholarship programs for undergraduate culinary students. The Coca-Cola Salute to Excellence Scholarship is a $5,000 award for outstanding culinary students nominated by a member of their school's faculty. The Al Schuman Ecolab Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Scholarship provides awards of up to $7,500 to culinary students who have an interest in an entrepreneurial role in the food-service industry.
