This scholarship is awarded to those attending or registered to attend Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. The qualifications include showing financial need and being registered as a pharmacy technician. Two awards are given yearly in the fall. Applicants should apply in May. Students can attend school full-time or part-time. The award amount is $500 and given by the faculty and staff members of the Health Occupations and Workforce Education of the community college.

Applicant's enrolled or registered in technical and community colleges in the state of California can apply for this scholarship. An applicant must be enrolled and accepted as a pharmacy technician. The maximum award is $4,500 per academic year. Students will also be required to complete 100 to 150 hours of volunteer service. Applicants are awarded this scholarship based off the information provided on their application. The information considered is financial need, career goals, community service, community background and academic performance. An applicant can attend school part-time or full-time. Alaska residents who have received their high school diploma or GED certificate and are registered in a pharmacy technology curriculum at the University of Alaska can apply for this scholarship. Alaska applicants who are current Alaska pharmacy technicians and license holders can apply as well. All applicants must attend the University of Alaska. The award is $500. Scholarship applications must be received annually by November 1 and are only accepted by mail.

This scholarship is given to applicants who are interested in attending a school in the state of California. The applicant should register as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. An applicant can apply for this scholarship each year. The applicants must maintain good academic standing for at least two semesters and practice as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician in the state of California after they graduate for a minimum of 1 year. If not, the applicant will have to repay the award at 10-percent interest over 7 years. The minimum award is $1,000, and the maximum award is $1,500.
