The Arizona Nurses Foundation (AzNF) supports talented nursing students through a generous scholarship program designed to "enhance the development of Arizona nurses and further the nursing profession," according to the group's website. Each semester, AzNF provides four $500 awards to students pursuing an associate's in nursing, four $1,000 grants to students beginning a BSN, and four $1,000 grants for those enrolled in an RN to BSN program. The group also funds graduate education with four $1,000 grants for master's students, and two $2,500 awards for Ph.D. candidates in nursing.

The Northern Arizona University School of Nursing offers many different scholarships to its students. The Corine Turner and Linda Davis NAU-Yuma Nursing Scholarship is available to students with financial need who are studying full-time at the Yuma campus and have earned at least a 3.0 GPA. Students with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply for the Ruth E. Nichols Memorial Nursing Scholarship. It seeks students who are bilingual, have financial need and "reflect characteristics of ethics and integrity," according to the school.

The Arizona PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association offers scholarships to its members to help them receive professional certifications and additional education. To help nurses obtain their Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification, the organization provides scholarships of $125 and $175 to be used toward exam fees, which can also be used toward Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse testing. Additionally, the association provides $500 scholarships for other nursing education programs leading to an advanced degree.

The School of Nursing at the University of Arizona offers the Dodie H. Fesenmyer Scholarship to help students with financial need. Applicants must be undergraduate nursing students who have demonstrated "satisfactory progress towards a degree," according to the university. Preference for the scholarship is given to single parents who are studying nursing because they "might not otherwise have this opportunity without financial assistance," as stated by the school.
