Dental Hygienist Programs in New Jersey

Dental hygienists are health care professionals responsible for providing preventive dental care under the supervision of a dentist. These professionals need an Associate of Science degree from a two-year program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Licensing is provided by passing the written examination administered by the American Dental Association. In the state of New Jersey, community colleges offer the majority of the dental hygienist programs.
