Dental Hygienist Programs in Massachusetts

According to the Massachusetts Dental Hygienist's Association, in 2010 there were seven accredited schools in Massachusetts offering certificate and associate degree programs in dental hygiene and one school offering a baccalaureate program. All programs provide the basic education required to take the national dental hygiene exam and apply for a state license to practice. A baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene opens the door to post-graduate education and a non-traditional dental hygiene career as an educator or researcher.
