The Sidney B. Williams Jr. Scholarship program awards $10,000 to minority students who plan to pursue a career in intellectual property law. Applicants must be a member of an underrepresented minority group attending a law school accredited by the American Bar Association. Recipients must become a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while attending law school.

The ABA's Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund provides $5,000 scholarships to minority law students. Applicants must be entering their first year of law school and possess a 2.5 GPA. As part of the program, participating law schools are required to match the amount of the ABA award for recipients.

The Milbank Diversity Scholars Program offers minority law students the opportunity to earn $50,000 in scholarship money as well as a paid summer internship. Students receive $15,000 of the scholarship in their third year of law school and the remaining $35,000 is paid upon acceptance of employment at the Milbank law firm.

The Lloyd M. Johnson Jr. Scholarship is awarded to minority law students entering their first year of law school. Recipients of the award receive $10,000 for each year they are enrolled in law school, and a small number of students will receive a one-time award of $10,000 to cover first-year costs.
