The Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) offers two scholarship programs for Korean American undergraduate and graduate engineering students. Undergraduate applicants must have earned a minimum of 40 credit hours and be current members of KSEA. Graduate applicants must also be members of KSEA and have a career interest in U.S.-Korea science and technology cooperation. Individual awards range from $500 to $1,500.

The Advancing Hispanic Excellence in Technology, Engineering, Math, and Science (AHETEMS) Scholarship Program offers multiple scholarship awards to Hispanic students who are completing degrees in engineering and related fields. Scholarship awards of $1,000 to $5,000 are available to graduating high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a ABET-accredited program. All applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a full-time enrollment status to be considered.

The Microsoft Corporation sponsors a scholarship program for women and minorities who are enrolled in computer and electrical engineering degree programs. Female undergraduates and undergraduates of African-American, Hispanic or Native American descent may apply. Selected students may receive either a full or partial tuition scholarship, and all applicants must also apply to the company's summer internship program. The awards are based on academic merit; all applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered.
