North Carolina Minority Scholarships

College tuition prices continue to skyrocket, making the cost of a higher education a substantial burden for many students. However, scholarships abound, and minority students in particular have many awards available to them from schools and other organizations throughout North Carolina.
  1. Holden Minority Scholarship

    • Warren Wilson College in Asheville offers the Holden Minority Scholarship, which covers the full expense of a student's degree program, including tuition and residency fees, for a Master of Fine Arts in Writing. The student is responsible for travel, living and additional expenses. Applicants must first be admitted to the MFA program and then submit an additional application for the award. They also must file a FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
