  1. James E. Rogers College of Law

    • The James E. Rogers College of Law is the law school affiliated with the public University of Arizona in Tucson. The Rogers College of Law has been a member of the Association of American Law Schools since 1931, is accredited by the American Bar Association, and is classified by U.S. News and World Report as a "tier one" American law school. The college is also one of only 80 law schools in the country to have a chapter of the distinguished law graduate honor society, Order of the Coif. The college boasts an impressive roster of faculty members, more than 40 percent of whom hold an American Law Institute membership. As of the 2008-2009 academic year, tuition for full-time in-state students of the Rogers College of Law was $19,584 per year. Tuition for full-time out-of-state students was $32,221 per year.

    Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law

    • The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) is another nationally ranked "tier one" law school option in Arizona. The college, which is fully accredited by the American Bar Association, publishes the notable Arizona State Law Journal, is home to a chapter of the Order of the Coif, and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. Members of the school's teaching faculty are all accomplished legal practitioners and scholars, having collectively argued in excess of 80 cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Tuition costs for the 2008-2009 academic year were $16,294 per year for in-state students, and $28,858 per year for out-of-state students.

    Phoenix School of Law

    • The Phoenix School of Law is Arizona's only private law school, and currently offers the only part-time evening degree program in the state. The school is relatively young, having welcomed its first class in January of 2005. However, it has already secured provisional accreditation from the American Bar Association, and 97 percent of its first graduating class (the class of 2008) passed the Arizona bar exam on the first attempt. Full-time tuition for the 2008-2009 academic year was $30,184.
