In New York, the Long Island Business Institute, Alfred State College, New York Career Institute and Business Informatics Center all offer associate degree programs in court reporting. In Pennsylvania, the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh and the Orleans Technical Institute in Philadelphia offer training programs in court reporting. Fortis College offers a court reporting program at its Norfolk, Virginia campus. In West Virginia, Huntington Junior College offers an associate degree in court reporting both on campus and through online learning.
There are 21 schools offering accredited training programs in the midwestern region of the United States. The majority are located in Ohio, with seven schools at nine locations offering associate degree programs in court reporting: Academy of Court Reporting, Miami-Jacobs Career College, Clark State Community College, Cuyahoga Community College, Stark State College of Technology and Stautzenberger College. There are four schools in Illinois offering associate degrees in court reporting: MacCormac College, Midstate College, South Suburban College and Sparks College. The College of Court Reporting in Hobart, Indiana, AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa and Butler Community College in Andover, Kansas all offer an associate degree program. Two schools in Michigan offer training in court reporting: the Academy of Court Reporting in Clawson and the Macomb Community College Center in Warren. Anoka Technical College in Anoka, Minnesota offers an associate degree program in judicial reporting and broadcast captioning. Wisconsin has two schools offering associate degrees in court reporting: Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland and Madison Area Technical College.
There are 18 accredited schools in the southern regions of the United States offering professional training in court reporting. There are associate degree programs at four schools in Texas: Alvin Community College, the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas, the Court Reporting Institute of Houston and Kilgore College in Longview. Two additional schools, Arlington Career Institute in Grand Prairie and the Kussad Institute of Court Reporting in Austin, offer certificate programs. Florida also has six schools with court reporting programs: the Atlantic Technical Institute, Erwin Technical Center, Sheridan Technical Center, the Stenotype Institute of Jacksonville, Key College and Winter Park Tech all offer certificate and degree programs. Brown College of Court Reporting and Medical Transcription in Atlanta, Midlands Technical College in Columbia, South Carolina and Chattanooga State Technical College in Tennessee all offer associate degree programs in court reporting. In Mississippi, Hinds Community College offers an associate degree in court reporting technology. Alabama has two schools offering associate degrees in court reporting: Gadsden State Community College and the Prince Institute of Professional Studies in Montgomery.
There are 11 schools in the western regions of the United States offer accredited training programs in court reporting. Most of these are in California, with three schools offering diploma or certificate programs: Bryan College of Court Reporting, Sage College and Tri-Community Adult Education. Associate degree programs are also offered at two schools: West Valley College in Saratoga and South Coast College in Orange. The Denver Academy of Court Reporting in Westminster, Colorado, Las Vegas College in Henderson, Nevada, Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque and Gateway Community College in Phoenix, Arizona all offer associate degrees in court reporting. Green River College in Auburn, Washington and Sumner College in Portland, Oregon both offer certificate programs in court reporting.
