Michigan Court Reporting Schools

Court reporters are responsible for producing a complete and accurate record of everything that is said at a trial, hearing, meeting, broadcast or classroom. Students in court reporting school spend many hours training in high-speed verbatim dictation on a shorthand machine. After obtaining an associate's degree at a court reporting school, graduates may work as court reporters, medical transcriptionists or provide closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
