Oklahoma Career Technician LPN Programs

Licensed practical nurses, or LPNs, provide basic health care services to patients in a variety of medical facilities. Many LPNs find employment at hospitals, nursing and residential care facilities, and physicians' offices. According to Salary.com, median annual income of an LPN is $39,772, as of November 2009. LPN candidates must complete an accredited program (which usually lasts one year at a college or technical school) and pass the National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX-PN. To enroll, most LPN programs require that you take an assessment test, have a high school diploma or the equivalent and be at least age 18.
