    Platt College (Lawton Campus)

    • Platt College is a private school that offers an LPN program at a campus in Lawton, Oklahoma. Platt is one of the largest private colleges in Oklahoma and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Platt offers an associate's degree and diploma LPN program. Both programs are 11 months in length. The diploma program includes 1,440 clock hours of instruction and 93.28 quarter credit hours, while the associate's degree program includes 1,570 clock hours and 102.75 quarter credit hours. According to the school's website, the LPN program will prepare graduates for an entry-level job as a practical nurse and the curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the health care community. Graduates will be eligible to take national certification exams to become licensed.

    • Central Tech is a technical school that offers a fully accredited LPN program at two campus locations: Drumwright and Salpulpa, Oklahoma. Graduates will earn a certificate of completion and will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) to become a licensed practical nurse. Some of the coursework includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, fundamentals of nursing, mental health nursing and pharmacology.
