Nursing Schools for LPN to RN

Licenced practical nurses (LPNs), sometimes called licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), are entry-level nurses who typically possess a 12-month certificate from a vocational school and have passed the licensing exam. Registered nurses (RNs) require more education and make considerably more money than LPNs. For LPNs who wish to advance, many schools offer LPN-to-RN bridge programs, usually culminating in either an associate (ASN) or bachelor's (BSN) degree. ASN programs take less time, but BSN programs give RNs more opportunities for jobs and higher pay.
