LPN Nursing Schools in Miami

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) helps care for patients by assisting physicians, osteopathic physicians, dentists and registered nurses. Most LPNs perform bedside tasks like taking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respirations, applying dressings and administering prescribed medications. LPNs also document symptoms, responses to treatment and progress of patients. Demand for LPNs is on the rise, especially in Miami and South Florida, where there is a very large retiree population.
