LVN to RN Nursing Schools

An LVN (licensed vocational nurse) to RN (registered nurse) program is an accelerated RN degree program designed especially for LVNs. The main benefit of an LVN to RN program is job advancement and pay increase. LVNs are also known as LPNs, or licensed practical nurses. The only difference between LPNs and LVNs is the name.
