LPN Schools in Arkansas

Training to be a licensed practical nurse is the shortest route to employment in the nursing profession. Most LPN training programs take just a year to complete. Once the education is complete and the student passes a national licensing exam, she qualifies to get a state license to practice. Practical nurses work under the direction of a doctor or registered nurse to provide medical care for patients. The programs are approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. LPN licenses in Arkansas must be renewed every two years and the renewal process also requires the completion of ongoing coursework in nursing.
