    • Community College of Philadelphia offers the associate of applied science degree in nursing which qualifies graduates to take the licensure exam to become registered nurses. Licensed practical nurses can apply for advance placement in the program by receiving credit for life experience. You must have had at least one year of successful previous nursing school experience. Proof of a current, active license in good standing is required along with transcripts from LPN school.
