Orlando Tech offers a practical nursing program that prepares graduates for the NCLEX exam, a standardized exam that each state board uses to test if a candidate is prepared for entry-level nursing. The program is a combination of 675 hours of laboratory and lecture, and 675 hours of clinical or hands on experience. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma and pass the TABE and TEAS tests. Only 30 spots are available, so applicants are advised to complete all of the requirements early.
