Licensed practical nurses ( LPNs) work with doctors and registered nurses to provide their patients with the utmost level of care. In order to become a licensed practical nurse in Ohio, one must first complete a nursing program that has been approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Then you pursue your license by taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for qualification as an LPN.
