Anesthesia Tech Programs

As of March 2010, only five schools in the United States offered programs for anesthesia technologists, according to the American Academy of Anesthesiology Assistants (AAAA). Carrying the approval of the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Professionals, these programs prepare students to take the examination for AAAA certification, which most employers look for in applicants. Found at both public and private institutions, these anesthesia tech programs confer master's degrees in the field.
