LPN Bridge Programs in Georgia

Technical Colleges

• The Technical College System of Georgia is a network of public technical colleges throughout the state. Most are two-year colleges, but a handful offer bachelor's degree programs, including five that offer LPN bridge programs. Technical colleges were scheduled to move to the semester system beginning in fall 2010. Students attending an LPN bridge program full time can expect to complete the program in about four semesters.

Private Colleges and Universities

• Four Georgia private colleges, including the prestigious Emory University, offer LPN bridge programs. Private colleges can operate on either the semester or the quarter system. In either case, a student attending full time can expect to complete an LPN bridge program in about two years. All private schools that offer LPN bridge programs as of 2010 are within an hour's drive of Atlanta.
