Nurse Practitioner Bridge Programs

Registered nursing is the largest occupational field in the health care industry, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. Some registered nurses collaborate with other health care professionals or work independently in primary care nursing by becoming an advanced practice nurse such as a nurse practitioner. Numerous institutions offer bridge programs to help registered nurses attain the education needed to become a nurse practitioner.
