The Gallagher Koster Health Careers Scholarship Program is open to undergraduate students in their junior or senior year of a health care-related degree program at an accredited college or university. Approved courses of study include nursing, physical therapy, public health and social work. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need to be considered for the $5,000 award. Students may receive the scholarship for a maximum of two years.

The United States Army's Health Professions Scholarship provides full tuition to selected students who are pursuing graduate degrees in health-related fields. The program is open to applicants who plan to enroll in graduate-level medical, dental, optometry, veterinary, psychiatric nurse practitioner, clinical or counseling psychology degree programs. In addition to paying all costs related to tuition and fees, applicants receive a monthly stipend and may potentially be granted a $20,000 sign-on bonus. In exchange, recipients must agree to a period of active duty service with the U.S. Army that is determined by their chosen field of study.

The California Health Professions Education Foundation offers scholarship awards to students who are enrolled in degree programs related to nursing or health professions. Scholarship awards are available for students who are enrolled in associate's and bachelor's degree programs at accredited California colleges and universities.
