The Missouri Public Health Foundation grants a $500 scholarship each year to a member of the Missouri Public Health Association who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a public health-related field such as nursing. Applicants must have completed at least 30 credit hours as an undergraduate student or at least 12 credit hours as a graduate student. Application requirements include an official grade transcript and at least one professional reference.

Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and live in Mississippi. The selection criteria give preference to applicants who live in Attala, Bolivar, Carroll, Holmes, Humphreys, Leflore, Montgomery, Sunflower and Washington counties. Award amounts vary.
