The American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) provides many scholarship opportunities for men interested in pursuing a career in the field of nursing. In partnership with Johnson & Johnson, the AAMN awards yearly $1,000 scholarships to qualified male pre-RN and graduate nursing students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, the applicant's personal statement and letters of recommendation. The AAMN also sponsors the Jadeh Moore Student Nurse Essay Contest, which awards a $500 scholarship to a male pre-RN student with the winning essay. Additionally, men who want to gain an associate's in nursing degree from Excelsior College's distance learning program may benefit from the AAMN's iStudySmart.com scholarship.

Male nursing students interested in studying at Duke University in North Carolina may benefit from the school's scholarship opportunities for underrepresented students. Duke's Broadening the Community Scholarship gives $10,000 to selected nursing students whose gender, race culture or other factors contribute to a broader and more varied community within the school of nursing. Similarly, the Robert Wood Johnson Scholarship awards $10,000 to students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds or are a member of a group that is underrepresented in nursing, such as men and minorities.
Other scholarship opportunities for nursing students include Duke's Rise to the Challenge Scholarship, given to those who have overcome obstacles to pursue a nursing career, and the school's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing need-based scholarships for students with financial need.

Belmont University School of Nursing offers a special scholarship to students enrolling in the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing second-degree nursing program. Called the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's New Careers in Nursing Scholarship, this program seeks to increase diversity in the nursing profession by providing financial assistance to men, minorities and members of other groups underrepresented in nursing. The award grants $10,000 to selected applicants based on a number of factors, including financial need, grade point average and community involvement.
