  1. Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship

    • If you live in California, the Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship program offers $8,000 a year for 2 years of nursing school. According to Explore Health Care Careers, the Associate Degree Scholarship Program is open to nursing students who are committed to becoming registered nurses within 1 to 2 years. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, and, after graduation, must complete 2 years working with underserved populations.

    U.S. Government Nursing Scholarship Program

    • The federal government offers a Nursing Scholarship Program to support nursing students who are committed to working in a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses. They offer a monthly stipend and pay tuition and other fees for qualified nursing students seeking associate's degrees.
