The Florida Memorial Healthcare System sponsors a scholarship program for students who are pursuing their bachelor of science degree in nursing at an accredited Florida college or university. Applicants must have completed at least one semester of study, be enrolled full-time and have a minimum 2.75 GPA. The scholarship provides up to $12,000 in education funding and in return, recipients must agree to work for the Memorial Healthcare System for a minimum of one year after completing their degree.

The Charlotte Dison Nursing Scholarship is available to nursing students enrolled at the University of Miami who have completed at least one semester of clinical nursing study. The Florida Association Directors of Nursing Administration/LTC (FADONA) offer the Imogene Ward Nursing Scholarship to Florida residents who are pursuing licensure as a registered nurse. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing degree program in-state and be employed in a licensed healthcare facility. Selected students must be nominated by their employer to be considered, and all recipients must agree to a two-year period of service in a long-term care facility in-state after graduation. The number and amount of awards granted annually varies.

Miami Children's Hospital offers scholarship awards to undergraduate students who are pursuing associate or bachelor's degrees in nursing at accredited Florida colleges and universities. Applicants must be in their junior or senior year or have completed their clinical study if enrolled in an associate degree program. Selection priority is given to those students who are current volunteers at Miami Children's Hospital or those students who demonstrate a career interest in pediatric nursing. Individual award amounts vary and all recipients are required to work for the hospital for a period of one year for every year funding is received.
