The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) provides annual scholarship money to students pursuing certification as a pharmacy technician through the J.C. and Rheba Cobb Memorial Scholarship. This educational grant is awarded in the amount of $2,500, and is non-renewable. Award money is disbursed directly to the scholarship recipient. To be eligible, a student must be registered full-time in a program of study related to pharmacy, and must also be a student member of the NCPA. Students will be judged on the basis of their academic record, leadership qualities and interest in government affairs. The annual deadline for application is March 16.
