The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) sponsors the Sherry R. Arnstein Minority Student Scholarship for under-represented minority students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in an osteopathic medicine degree program at an AACOM member school. Scholarships of $2,500 are awarded to selected minority students who demonstrate a commitment to promoting the benefits of osteopathic medicine among minority populations.

The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) sponsors a research fellowship for osteopathic medicine students who are pursuing an undergraduate or for medical students who are in the process of completing their internship or residency. Fellowship awards of $5,000 are granted to selected students who plan to conduct scientific research related to some aspect of osteopathic medicine. All applicants must be enrolled at an AOA-approved institution and plan to conduct their research in collaboration with a sponsor.

The Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation Scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in an accredited osteopathic medicine degree program with special consideration shown to those students who are attending school in, or are residents of, the Pacific Northwest. Scholarship awards are granted on the basis of academic achievement, involvement in the community and professional organizations, letters of recommendation and an intent to practice in the Pacific Northwest after graduation. Annual award amounts vary based on funding.
