The Australian High Commission's Australia-Pakistan Scholarship program helps Pakistani students attend an Australian college or university. The scholarships pay the full cost of tuition, along with stipends for travel and housing. To be eligible, a student must be a Pakistani citizen, have at least 16 years of schooling, be 45 or younger and proficient in English. The program awards about 200 scholarships each year. By accepting this scholarship, the student agrees to work for two years in Pakistan in a job related to his studies. The deadline for application is May 4.

The British Council helps Pakistani students who attend a university in Great Britain through its British Chevening Scholarship program. The one-year scholarships pay for tuition and travel expenses and provide a monthly stipend for a total value of up to £12,000, or about $18,000. To be eligible, a student must be a Pakistani citizen pursuing post-graduate studies and be proficient in English.

Pakistan's Higher Education Commission awards scholarships to Pakistani students who pursue post-graduate studies in Pakistan. These grants are partially funded by the United States government through the USAID program. To be eligible, a student must be studying agriculture or business administration at the graduate level and be able to demonstrate financial need. HEC-USAID scholarships cover tuition, books, travel, lodging and other costs of living. Funds go directly to the university the student attends.
