Hispanic Women in Leadership (HWIL) is a Houston, Texas-based organization that was founded in 1988. Its mission is to develop strong networks whose members can help each other achieve career goals and advancement in both work and personal life. HWIL provides several scholarships to those students who graduated from high schools in the Houston and Harris counties and surrounding areas. Students must be attending a higher education institute in Texas and be ranked in the top 25% of their class. Judging criteria for HWIL's Academic Scholarship is 50% academic, 25% leadership and 25% financial need. For the Opportunity Scholarship, the criteria is 50% financial need, 25% academics and 25% leadership.

Goldman Sachs and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund partnered to create the 10,000 Women Business Leadership Award. The scholarship is open to rising junior women who are currently enrolled full-time at one of eight designated institutions. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be eligible to receive a Pell Grant and be planning to go into a career in business. The award is $10,000 total, with $5,000 being awarded over two years.

The National Women's Studies Association (NWSA) was founded in 1977 to promote the field of women's and gender studies. The NWSA runs three scholarship programs and also offers discounts or waivers to attend its conferences. The NWSA Women of Color Caucus Award consists of four scholarships, each one to a different minority group. Graduate students who are of Latina descent are eligible to apply for the award, whose amount is $500.

The Anne Ford scholarship was established in 2002 and was originally intended for one recipient. Ford's daughter, Allegra, made a contribution in 2009 that enabled the scholarship program to expand and offer awards to two high school seniors. Candidates must have a proven learning disability and plan to obtain a degree from an undergraduate institution. The $10,000 award is given to those students who are active in the community and demonstrate an ability to be leaders to others with learning disabilities.
