Texas State Technical College has four schools and a number of campuses throughout the state. In a given year, TSTC graduates up to 30,000 students from its programs. TSTC's Marshall Campus offers a variety of certifications and associate degrees. Courses are offered in five programs: information technology; engineering and manufacturing; health and sciences; business, commerce and service; and transportation.
Panola College is based in Carthage, about thirty miles south of Marshall on U.S. Highway 59. The school was established in 1947 and has an enrollment of over 1800. Panola's programs include health-related courses, business and computer courses and specialized petroleum industry courses. Panola administers a satellite campus in Marshall, at the Marshall Mall.
Remington College's Shreveport campus offers diploma programs in medical assisting, medical billing and electronic technology. Associate degrees are also available in criminal justice and business office management. Remington is a non-profit school with a focus on small class sizes.
Ayers Career College offers pharmacy, medical assisting, medical billing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) courses.
Northwest Louisiana Technical College and its predecessors have offered vocational training for more than 70 years. The Shreveport-Bossier campus offers about two dozen programs including culinary arts, diesel repair, welding and network specialist. Bossier Parish Community College has a wide range of programs, including criminal justice, culinary arts, business administration and a variety of computer-related courses.
