ATS Heavy Equipment Schools

Associated Training Services (ATS) is one of the leading heavy equipment operator training schools in the United States. The school has 10 locations throughout the country including Wisconsin, Florida and New Hampshire. Classes start every three weeks and run year-round.
  1. Crane Operator Training

    • The crane operator program at ATS offers hands-on fixed and swing cab mobile crane instruction. The short-term program prepares graduates for the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators exams. Crane operators are in high demand in the United States. Most states require crane operators to be certified.

    Heavy Equipment Training

    • ATS is aware of the training and equipment that employers are looking for in the heavy equipment industry. The school offers hands-on training on many types of heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers and excavators. Graduates can be ready for employment in only three weeks of heavy equipment training.

    Truck Driver Training

    • ATS schools offer a Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program. Students in the program receive instruction in CDL regulations, U.S. Department of Transportation rules and truck driving safety. The practical instruction involves reversing exercises, pretrip inspection, truck operations and coupling and uncoupling. The training aims to prepare the student for the CDL road test.

    Financing

    • There are many tuition financing opportunities available to students who enroll at an ATS school. Many students qualify for state or federal grant funding to help with training costs. Career loans may be used to pay for living expenses and tuition.
