Government Medical Colleges in Pakistan

The position of doctor or dentist is greatly respected in Pakistan. To cater to the demand for medical training there, the Pakistani government maintains many medical colleges and encourages the establishment of quality private institutions. There are over 60 public and privately accredited medical colleges in Pakistan, and it is the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council who oversees their accreditation and standards.
