The University of British Columbia School of Nursing has two BSN tracks: a traditional four-year program and an accelerated BSN program for students who already have a non-nursing bachelor's degree. The accelerated students may apply to the BSN program as long as they have completed prerequisite courses in anatomy and physiology and English composition. All BSN students matriculate in the fall.

The University of Northern British Columbia offers a traditional four-year BSN in collaboration with the College of New Caldonia and Northwest Community College. In addition to first time undergraduate students, the BSN program accepts transfer nursing students for advanced placement, licensed practical nurses who must meet additional requirements and diploma-prepared registered nurses. Unlike other nursing programs, the school gives priority admission up to 20 percent to Aboriginal applicants who meet or exceed the normal requirements.
