Army Nursing Schools

While most individuals who join the Army do so looking for a career or to serve their country, others join as a way to further their education while fulfilling their duties. Those who join the Army may feel a calling to serve others, and earning a nursing degree while enlisted is a perfect way to continue serving others long after finishing a commitment to the military.
  1. Army ROTC

    • Learning the field of nursing through the Army's ROTC program provides future nurses with real world experience that is not available through a traditional college setting. Cadets benefit from one-on-one training and mentoring to learn the steps it takes to be successful in the medical field. By taking advantage of the ROTC's Nurse Summer Training Program, students work in Army hospitals throughout the U.S. or Germany to learn the ropes of a career as an Army Nurse Corps Officer during the three week training program. An Army Nurse Corps Officer mentors and trains each student to prepare them for a career as either an Army nurse or nurse in the private sector.
