Enterprise State Community College is also known as Enterprise-Ozark Community College since it serves both Ozark and Enterprise, which is the primary city of the Enterprise-Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area. It also has a campus at another city in Dale County (Fort Rucker), and other areas in Alabama (Mobile, Albertville and Andalusia). Specifically, the Ozark campus focuses on aviation. In fact, it is the only place in Alabama offers a Federal Aviation Administration-certified aviation maintenance training program, with instruction concentrated in airframe & powerplant (A&P) and avionics.

The city of Troy, Alabama, is not located in the Enterprise-Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area, but with locations dispersed across the country, including Alabama, Troy University has a campus in Dothan. This makes TU another ideal place for Ozark students. Unlike Enterprise and Wallace, Troy University is a four-year institution. WCC students who are thinking of transferring to a four-year institution but want to stay in the area can consider TU. It should be noted, though, that the subject focus of its undergraduate and graduate programs at Troy's Dothan campus is confined to education.
