• The California State University (CSU) Division of Politics Administration and Justice program offers one main program for law enforcement careers, which offers internships in California and Washington D.C. for accepted students. However, students have to be admitted to this program by completing a 3.2 GPA in basic criminal justice classes and a 3.0 GPA in total undergraduate coursework. Once admitted the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) consists of 21 required credit hours followed by 12 elective credit hours with an additional 9 credit hours from electives in the math, science or psychology department for a total of 41 credit hours. This program offers a well-rounded law enforcement education geared towards helping the student gain entry into the law field after graduation or for entrance into graduate or law school programs. As of 2010, the yearly cost of attendance for this program is $7,000 per year.

• The University of San Francisco offers a bachelor’s program in Public Law Administration-Law Enforcement Leadership that is designed for working individuals who wish to pursue law enforcement in the public sector. According to Education Portal, the program has three specializations: Law Enforcement Leadership, Generalist and Nonprofit Administration. The program focuses on theoretical issues in law enforcement such as social and organization ethics and the theory of organizational design and public management. As of 2010, the cost of yearly attendance in this program is $10,500.
