John Jay College of Criminal Justice was founded for the purpose of educating candidates in the field of criminal justice. John Jay is a school within the larger City University of New York and offers traditional classroom settings to more non-traditional offerings such as online learning. The Criminal Justice Administration and Planning major is designed to give a student a well-rounded introduction into the criminal justice system and to criminal justice administration.
West Virginia Wesleyan hosts approximately 1500 students annually and offers a major in Criminal Justice that introduces students to law enforcement and prepares them for careers as investigators and officers. A degree in Criminal Justice from WV Wesleyan also prepares students for continuing education in administration.
Remington college offers associate's degrees in Criminal Justice at campuses in numerous states including Ohio, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Hawaii and Tennessee. Founded in 1892, Greenville offers an introduction to the criminal justice system and to societies and people in general. Students are expected to have experience in the field before graduation. This experience is gained through internships in areas where social problems are more evident. Students work in juvenile facilities or with former prisoners in rehab or in inner-city ghettos.
